Blake’s rainbow-colored, heavily embellished nutcracker is unforgettable, and you can achieve the look for yourself.
Christmas is the ideal (and possibly the only) occasion to indulge excessively in glitz and glamour, but can glitter ever be too much? Blake Lively asserts that there most certainly isn’t.
It is not unexpected that the actress, who is known for her love of bold and vibrant Christmas design ideas, has opted to embellish her favourite decoration with glitter and rainbow-colored crystals to make a statement, much like she has done with her home.
You can take her lead and spend money on a crystalline nutcracker (or a pair of crystallised nutcrackers) that will be the centre of conversation in your home for the duration of the holiday season as the ultimate starting point.
Blake, who is most known for her work on the television series Gossip Girl, The Age of Adaline, and A Simple Favor, gave fans a peek inside her house, where she had baked a peppermint bark ice cream cake that was decorated with miniature candy canes. Even though we were unavoidably observing the actress’s culinary prowess, we must acknowledge that her crystallised nutcrackers were the star of the show.
A nutcracker is one of the few Christmas customs that has stood the test of time, and these ornaments bring them into her modern home in the most whimsical way. The Papa Noel (opens in new tab) cookie jar, which is one of “Oprah’s Favorite Things,” and the nutcracker are both from Neiman Marcus and were designed by Stephen Brown (opens in new tab), the founder of Glitterville Studios.
Blake’s two “Colonel Cupcakes” are not currently available from Glitterville, but they do have an equally eye-catching Colonel Cupcake cup (opens in new tab). The Giant Colonel Cupcake (opens in new tab), another nutcracker offered by the business, can be used similarly to Blake’s, and you can sign up to be notified when it is restocked.
Additionally, given that Glitterville uploaded the exact ornament on Instagram this week, we anticipate that Blake’s expensive Christmas decoration will be back in store soon.
The nutcracker may not come as a surprise to Blake Lively and Glitterville fans because the actress openly confessed her love for the ornament in late November. Blake left a remark on the Neiman Marcus Exclusive Crystal Colonel Cupcake on Instagram saying, “I’m not okay” (opens in new tab).
The crystal-paved and crystal-covered limited edition nutcracker is made by PRECIOSA in Bohemia, the Czech Republic. Prior to hand-signing each nutcracker, artist Stephen Brown applies each crystal by hand in the heart of Europe.
As Blake demonstrated, the ornament is a terrific Christmas table idea, but we also believe it would look excellent next to a fireplace or in your foyer to instantly make a festive statement.
