For award season, Brendan Fraser and Jeanne Moore are still by one other’s sides.
The two went to the 32nd Gotham Awards on Monday night in New York City, where Fraser, 53, was up for outstanding lead performance for his work on The Whale. Actress Danielle Deadwyler won the competition in the end.
Earlier this year, Fraser and Moore, a makeup artist, shared the red carpet at award ceremonies and film festivals, such as the 79th Venice International Film Festival in September, the 66th BFI London Film Festival, and the GQ Men of the Year Party earlier this month.
Prior to their 2007 separation announcement, Fraser and ex-wife Afton Smith were wed for nine years. Griffin, 20, Holden, 18, and Leland, 16, are their three children.
The Mummy star remarked on making a significant comeback after taking a sabbatical from Hollywood to concentrate on his personal life in a recent interview with Variety.
“Hollywood may be back in business at the moment, but I am confident that the time I needed to spend with my family and for personal reasons was time well spent. And since I last stepped back in 2009 or 2010, the industry has undergone significant upheaval. I had to adapt as it transitioned from analogue to digital “Fraser stated.
Added he, “Never have I been that far away. I’m not going anywhere so easily. But I’m happy I have a job now. I’m still waiting for someone to approach me, hand me a dish towel, and command me to return to the kitchen.”
